1) Holiday在英式英语和美式英语中的区别：

英式英语中指假期、度假。美式英语中多指节日，公众假期。Traditional holidays, e.g. Christmas, Thanksgiving:传统节日，比如圣诞节、感恩节Public holiday:公众假期

例句：I'm going on holiday. 我去度假啦（英式）What's your holiday plan? 你过节去干吗？（美式）

Vacation：假期、休假

美国人说到度假，不太用holiday,而更常用vacation
